April 11, 2006 A Message to our Customers, As you may have already heard, two of our partners have announced a merger. Genesys, the current leader in vXML will acquire VoiceGenie, the pioneers in the industry with the second highest market share. VoicePort has implemented its voice applications with both the Genesys and VoiceGenie vXML platforms in the past, the two of which are completely compatible. The merger will establish an undisputed leader in vXML, and prepare the two entities for the anticipated growth within the voice portal market. As previously mentioned, Genesys is the current market leader in contact center solutions. Their focus is 100% on software. Genesys brings to the table more that 1,300 employees and the backing of their parent company, Alcatel, a global multinational leader in telecommunications and internet technology. Genesys is used in over 5,500 contact centers in companies such as Sears, Bank of America, Merril Lynch, Verizon, Ford and Pepsi to name a few. Genesys and VoiceGenie have complementary capabilities. They will combine their vXML platforms to form Aladdin 1.0. For current customers of our VoiceGenie applications, this will be as simple as upgrading from version 7.1 to 7.2. As long as you are current with new software releases, there will be virtually no impact on your application. We at VoicePort would like to assure you that this merger means bigger and better things for everyone involved. When two companies of such high caliber come together, the capabilities and functionality of our products can only increase. For more information about the merger, please feel free to visit the Genesys website at www.genesyslabs.com. We are happy to answer any questions you might have. Sincerely, Chris Mann President VoicePort, LLC |
