The Morning News Implements VoicePort Hosted Solution
Arkansas' Morning News goes live with VoicePort's speech self-service solution, CircPort.
Pittsford, NY. July 11, 2006. Today The Morning News of Northwest Arkansas, based in Springdale, Arkansas implemented the hosted speech recognition application, CircPort, to field calls into their circulation department. The Stephens Media Group newspaper has a daily circulation of 39,333.
The hosted version of VoicePort's CircPort application has found a home in many of the smaller newspapers across the United States and Canada. Hosted solutions significantly decrease the capital outlay, making self-service solutions more feasible option. The Morning News will now be able to offer 24/7 service, allowing customers instant access to their account.
The CircPort product is completely integrated to The Morning News' PBS circulation database, providing real-time transactions to newspaper subscribers. To date VoicePort has over thirty CircPort applications integrated to a PBS.
