Osprey Media Selects VoicePort
The CircPort application utilizes advanced speech recognition technology to handle a variety of circulation tasks in automation. The solution is completely integrated to the newspapers circulation database and provides cost saving advantages to fit any circulation size or budget. CircPort eliminates customer hold times, and allows for live agents to concentrate on higher value tasks. This increases both productivity and customer satisfaction, while decreasing call center costs.
In the summer of 2005, Osprey Media began testing the hosted version of the CircPort application in three of their daily newspapers: St. Catharines Standard, Niagara Falls Review and Welland Tribune. Due to the success of these implementations, eight further newspapers were placed on the system. The decision to purchase the OnPremise solution will transfer the remaining ten daily newspapers to the CircPort application, in one consolidated call center. Each newspaper will have the opportunity to customize the solution to meet their specific needs. "VoicePorts application proved successful in every Osprey newspaper it was implemented in," said Jack Mulchinock, Vice President of Information Technology at Osprey Media. "The cost savings have been significant." "The continuous expansion within Osprey Media has been a great success," said Chris Mann, President of VoicePort. "The purchase of the OnPremise solution was the natural next step for Osprey to improve their bottom line." About VoicePort: Located in About Osprey Media: Osprey Media is one of
