The Morning News Implements VoicePort Hosted Solution

Arkansas' Morning News goes live with VoicePort's speech self-service solution, CircPort.

 

Pittsford , NY . July 11, 2006. TodayThe Morning News of Northwest Arkansas, based in Springdale , Arkansas implemented the hosted speech recognition application, CircPort, to field calls into their circulation department. The Stephens Media Group newspaper has a daily circulation of 39,333.

 

The hosted version of VoicePort's CircPort application has found a home in many of the smaller newspapers across the United States and Canada . Hosted solutions significantly decrease the capital outlay, making self-service solutions more feasible option. The Morning News will now be able to offer 24/7 service, allowing customers instant access to their account.

 

The CircPort product is completely integrated to The Morning News' PBS circulation database, providing real-time transactions to newspaper subscribers.   To date VoicePort has over thirty CircPort applications integrated to a PBS.
